The sky over Taichung was illuminated by the most brilliant piano melodies. Lang Lang made his debut at the National Taichung Theater, bringing his 2025 Taiwan tour to a triumphant conclusion amidst thunderous and lingering applause. 🏆

💎 “Music changed my life. I want music to become a friend to more children and change their lives just as it did mine."

Staying true to his commitment to music education, Lang Lang opened his final rehearsal to over 200 students with the support of the Taichung City Cultural Affairs Bureau and Education Bureau. The students witnessed firsthand the discipline and soul of a world-class artist.

Conductor Jun Märkl shared that, having known Lang Lang for over a decade, he has seen him evolve from the fiery exuberance of his youth into the profound and introspective master he is today.

As the final note resonated through the hall, Lang Lang revisited the legendary piece that launched his career at age 17: Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1. Performing this masterpiece again after more than a decade, he expressed immense excitement, feeling as though he had instantly returned to his youth—that primal, pure passion for music touched the heart of every listener in the audience.

The youthful spirit and passion brought by Lang Lang and Gina Alice allowed us to hear the purest form of music within the score. We look forward to seeing Lang Lang again next year! 💖
